Pampa Bought for Ralph Lowe NEW YORK, N. Y., June 23. Fred Almy, agent here for California horseman Ray Bell said today that a report from The Curragh, Ireland, Wednesday about the purchase of the broodmare Pampa was in error. The mare was bought by Bell and Bert Kerr and Co. for the interest of Ralph Lowe, of Midland, Texas, Almy said today, and not for Bell himself. In addition, Almy said, Pampa is seven, not 15 years old, as reported in the foreign dispatch. The mare brought the highest price, 4,255, in the dispersal sale of Mrs. Hubert Hartigans horses, at The Curragh edn?sday c 1
