Sonic Gains Topweight Score at Narragansett Head Winner Over Eternal Moon As Condamion Takes Show Award I By J0E IIIRSCH NARRAGANSETT PARK, Pawtucket, R. I., June 23. Jerry Lynchs Sonic, a gallant old warrior with more than a touch of class, came storming through the stretch to capture the featured Greenwich Purse today, after Prank Solimena had hustled him to the early lead, then tok him back off the pace. The seven-year-old Blue Larkspur stallion under topweight of 120. pounds, was a thrusting head to the good of A. Marones Eternal Quest at the wire with F. M. Pbncelets Condamion another neck back for the minor award. Mildly, regarded by the 7,597 in attendance on a beautiful summer afternoon, Sonic returned 4.00 for his fourth win of the campaign, and was clocked in 1:44 for the mile and 70 yards of the Greenwich. Solimena was registering his second win of the afternoon, having been aboard the victorious Our Margo in the fourth event, while apprentice George Gibb also had a double, in the second and third races. Bet down to 6-5 favoritism by the crowd, with whom he has become quite a favorite, Floor Boss returned .40 and covered the six furlongs in a crisp 1:11. The tally was his fourth in succession and sixth in his last seven outings. He was handled by Marshal Wilder, who has ridden him in the majority of his races this year. Floor Boss duelled with Lasting Treat, Jim Carrs game mare, in the -early going, then gave way as King Pin came up under urging by Darrel Madden to lead by a length at th-half mile marker.
