Lausche Vetoes Bill Allowing All Ohio Tracks 44 Days COLUMBUS, Ohio, June 23. Gov. Frank. J. Lausche has vetoed a measure- that would permit any and every race track in the state to operate for 44 days. Ohio law allows only tracks more than a half-mile in circumference to operate for 44 days or nights in one year. The smaller tracks are limited to 38 days or nights. However,, only" one track, Lebanon Raceway, stood to benefit by the bill if Gov. Lausche had signed it. Lebanon would .have been permitted to operate for 44 j nights instead of 38. I
