W. P. Carroll Dead DELAWARE PARK, Stanton, Del., June 23. Phil Carroll, employed by the Darby Dan Farm, returned today from Kentucky, where he buried his father, Winfred P. Carroll. The elder Carroll, for many years a, trainer of thoroughbreds, had served as a blacksmith at various tracks during recent years.
