AGGRAVATOR had speed from the outset, shook off rr CONTEND in the stretch and won under mild urging. GRAY GOWN came between horses when making his bid in the stretch, bore in and had to be steadied inside the furlong post, and closed strongly. CONTEND was hard hustled while moving up on the outside on the turn, to gain command and had nothing left for the drive. MISS ROBBIN had to be carefully ridden while on the rail.- CAB HAPPY tired. BLACK HOMBURG showed nothing. KIN TRIP was in close between horses entering the turn and gave way in the final quarter mile. BRIGHT PASS saved ground improving position, came through on the inside in the drive and just got up. MISS FRAN made the pace from the start, shook off STORM BIRD in the stretch and held on gamely, just failing. STORM BIRD was hustled along on the outside to reach a contending position, threatened boldly on the final. turn and weakened through the drive. COL. WINDY was within striking distance and lacked a menacing rally. GOOD TIMER bore out on the first turn and showed little thereafter. END TABLE was through early. DUSTY TEAR was bothered slightly leaving the first turn and failed to respond. RED MARTLET, bumped entering the first turn,-made a game bid nearing the final turn and tired. FLYING REDBIRD lacked early speed. CASE LAW pressed the pace until leaving the turn and tired. PAQUI took up sharply to avoid horses heels at the guarter mile post and failed to recover.
