DOTTY NOBLE was never too far from the pace, and coming to the outside for the stretch run closed very fast to catch LILAC TIME in the last thirty yards and win going away. LILAC TIME sprinted to the front early and, saving ground, increased her margin after entering the stretch but had little left. JON TER was off slowly and was badly outrun for a half mile but finished fast. JOLLY WELL also closed a gap to finish strongly. STELLA BELLA had fair early speed. TAT and SEA CAPRICE tired. SWEENIE went to the front at once, and drawing into a good lead when called upon entering the stretch, was never in danger and won fairly vell in hand. SIXTY TWO was outrun to the stretch, then saved ground to easily outfinish the others. WALKERS BRANCH lacked early speed but was racing strongly on the outside at the end. A TOUTE FORCE tired in the stretch. MAHMOUD RELIC was close enough early but lacked much finishing power. TOBIKI moved up on the outside nearing the stretch turn, then weakened. Scratched M. TIPOQUILL soon raced into contention and closed fast on MARK L. after entering the final furlong, moved to the front in the last- sixteenth and held HEDGE-WOOD MISS at bay. The latter improved her position in the last half mile and was going well at the end. FLEUR DAMOUR went steadily throughout, MARK L. dashed to the front in the first furlong, drew away after leaving the backstretch, but was used up from his early efforts and tired badly in the final sixteenth. RULE AGAIN, PENNY FORTUNE and EQUINAUT had some early speed. The others were outrun throughout. PARADISE closely to the stretch turn, then went to the front on the outside to assume a fair advantage, but just lasted to hold BRACHS ADMIRAL. The latter was not too far away and, coming fast near the end, might have won in another stride. BY ZEUS improved his position after going a half mile and was racing strongly and close up at the end. MR. PARADISE went to the front early and saved ground while making the pace to hold on well. MON-PHARO weakened. COSENTINA was close enough fora half mile, then dropped back gradually.
