Two Claims for 2,500 At Recent Balmoral Meet 7 Fifty-three claims were made at the recent Balmoral meeting held at Washington Park. Tops was the 2,500 paid for Pros-pectin and Diamond Joe. The former was acquired by Mrs. F. J. Munao from Calumet Farm, while the latter was taken by William Hal Bishop from Borton and Johnson. Black Bantam was the third highest at 0,000, the amount paid by the Olhove-Regnave Stable to Marion H. VanBerg. Five claims were made on three different programs. On the May 19 card, Big Swiv was claimed by Dormar Stable for ,000; Bobtag, P. G. Johnson, ,000; Lacy Jacket, Armer-Nail Stable, ,500; Laura C, E. J. Bolser, ,000; and Hugo You Go, Martha J. Milani, ,500. On May 26, Mrs. L. C. Molay claimed Crossbow Girl for ,500; Sids Pride, Valley View Farm, ,000; Mayo Lady, Dormar Stable, ,000; Three Cubs, Wallace Strong, ,000 and Whits Rose, M. Muroff, ,000. On June 17, the semi-final program of the meeting, Etheridge was taken by Walter A. Visans, ,000; Pussy Cat, Mrs. A. M. Creech, ,000; Tahitian, O and B Stable, ,500; Romango, Thomas D. Nolan, ,500, and Pernie Lee, E. J. Bolser, ,000.
