GIANTS TAKE OVER CLINTON CLINTON, Iowa, Oct. 5. Bill Terry, general manager of the New York Giants, arranged final details for the transfer of the Clinton club of the Three-Eye League to the Giants in 1939. Clinton recently ended a two-year working agreement with the Dodgers.
