DEWS BRILLIANT FEAT COLLINSVILLE, 111., Oct. 5 Apprentice Earl Dew made racing history at Fairmount Park last Wednesday as he booted home five winners in a single afternoon. Old-timers here fail to recall a better individual performance than shown by the 17-year-old Sac City, Iowa, lad, as he booted home in order Bald Eagle, Grimaldi, Golden Play, Earl Porter and Flickamaru, all outsiders in the betting. As a result of his sensational performance that day and his consistency throughout, Dew is out in front in the race for the second half riding championship of Fair-mount Park, with the attending prize of a beautiful Longines wrist watch. Willie "Peanuts" McCadden won the prize for tho first j nineteen-day meet.
