t JAMAICA TURF NOTES f $ e William Shaw, a topnotch rider of the early part of the century, was among Tuesday af ternccns visitors. He remained over after witnessing the Futurity. Frank Kearns shipped for the Calumet Stable to Keeneland Park Temulac, Calumet Red, Lotta Bull and Talked About. They will be raced during that meeting. One hundred books cut in Tuesday afternoon, an increase of three over the opening day. S. W. "Dutch" Richards arrived from Chicago with several horses that he will race here and at Empire City. Trainer Bill Hurley of the E. R. Bradley Stable, sent a hurried call to Dr. Southard to proceed to Laurel to examine Benefactor. The two-year-old, according to advices from that track, developed lameness following his race in the Futurity. Volitant, star member of the Saratoga Stable, will be shipped to Laurel by Sandy Clausen to fulfill a stake engagement at that point. The T. P. Morgan stable will be shipped to Pimlico following the close of the New-York season. Dave Woods of the Maryland Jockey Club, returned to Baltimore after collecting last minute nominations to the stakes for the fall meeting at Pimlico. The W. E. Boeing stable, headed by the Futurity winner Porters Mite, left for San Francisco Tuesday in charge of trainer Horning. Jimmy Kilroe of the racing secretarys staff, is laid up with a severe cold. Jockey H. Richards was fined 0 for disobedience at the post on Red Eye in the fourth race Monday.
