I LONG BRANCH TURF NOTES j s Horsemen who have their charges quartered at Dufferin Park and other courses and vanning to Long Branch are requested to report the arrival of their charges at the racing secretarys office. P. C. Galliger, racing secretary at Long Branch and Dufferin Park, has received a letter of appreciation for his work on the Prairies this summer from E. D. Adams, secretary of the Prairie Thoroughbred Horse Association and steward representing that body on the western Canada tracks. Mr. Adams wants Mr. Galliger to keep in touch with him because there is no doubt from the tone of his letter that Pat will be welcomed back in the West again next summer. F. H. Bates, who operates the camera for photo finishes, has installed a spotlight to assist in taking the pictures on dull days. The spotlight was imported from Hollywood and is the same as used by the motion pic- ture companies to assist the cameras,
