PAY OFF ON 1925 TICKET J. A. MacDermott of Baltimore Collects .40 From Mutuel Ticket Thirteen Years Old. LAUREL, Md., Oct. 5. Thirteen years ago Johnny Campbell paid .40 to show in a race run at Laurel Park. That was before Frank J. Brady, general manager, and H. A. Frank, pari-mutuel manager, were occupying their present positions. Today manager Brady received a letter from J. A. MacDermott, 4204 Massachusetts Avenue, Baltimore, Md., inclosing a mutuel show ticket on Johnny Campbell, which raced on October 31, 1925. Manager Brady called in Frank and asked him to check up on the ticket. Mr. Frank did. His report, after three minutes search, was that the ducat was worth .40, whereupon manager Brady mailed MacDermott a check for that amount.
