1 ROCKINGHAM PARK NOTES Trainer E. E. Russell reports that the plater Laconic has been fired and turned out on the Framingham Farm of Weston Adams. Spanish Maid unseated her exercise boy Tuesday morning, jumped the centerfield fence, ran off and suffered numerous cuts which will probably keep her out of competition for several days. The stewards granted permission to add blinkers to the equipment of May Music in her next outing. E. A. Summers checked in at Rockingham Park with Landlubber, Westys Duke, Marys Boy and Believer, the property of W. C. Johnson. The remainder of the string is being freshened up at Narragansett Park. J. R. Macomberrs Petolette suffered an injury that made it necessary that she be destroyed. It has been reported that veteran jockey Eddie Smith will sign to do the riding for the Mrs. P. A. Shaw string this winter in I Florida.
