According to advices from Jamaica, jockeys Nick Wall, Harry Richards and Raymond Workman will be here to accept mounts Thursday. Brandywine Stables Masked General is being transferred to Jamaica to fulfill a stakes engagement Saturday. Jockey Joe Wagner will leave to ride the colt. Fifty-six horses were schooled by the ground crew of starter James F. Milton at Laurel Park Wednesday morning, making the class one of the largest of the present fall session. Seabiscuit was one of the pupils. Five valuable stakes will be listed for the fall meeting of the Southern Maryland Agricultural Association, operating Bowie, starting Wednesday, November 16, according to a list made public Jy general manager J. B. Boyle. In addition to the stakes an overnight handicap of ,200 or ,500 value will be decided each day, except on days when stakes are to be run. The stakes to be run are the W. P. Burch Memorial Handicap, ,500 added; Prince George Autumn Handicap, ,500 added; T. K. Lynch Memorial Handicap, ,000 added; Endurance Handicap, ,000 added, and Bryan and OHara Memorial, 0,000 added. The stakes close October 24.
