LESS DOG BITE CASES Vigilance of the Chicago police department this summer in keeping stray dogs off the streets resulted in a sharp reduction in the number of dog bite cases during the first nine months of 1938, the board of health reported yesterday. Since last January 1, 12,255 persons were bitten, compared with 10,979 in the same period last year.
