ROSARlAN, in near pursuit of the early pace from the start, was placed under pressure rounding the stretch turn on the outside, wore down the leaders and outlasted MACMAC in the final drive. MACMAC, slow to begin, improved his position on the inside and finished fast over tired horses at the end. GERMANS showed speed from the start, raced MARY SCHULZ into defeat and then faltered. DOWN HILL, a forward factor from the start, saved ground, but quit nearing the finish. WITFUL made up ground from a slow beginning. JACK FLY was outrun. MARY SCHULZ quit badly. OVERSIGHT was under steady restraint in the early running, moved up with a rush on the outside ywhen settled in thc back stretch, was blocked and forced to come to the outside, then finished fast to win drawing away. CHANCE WATCH was sent into command at the start, showed speed throughout and held on with determination at the end. REMUS-GINA was outrun in the early stages, came to the outside in the stretch and outlasted WEST HADDON in the final strides. Thc latter made a determined bid when straightened out for the stretch run, but faltered at the end. KATE SMITH was in near pursuit of the early pace, but faltered badly in the stretch. SILENT JIM had no mishaps in the running. ELLEN H.. fractious at the post, broke from outside of the stalls and was outrun all the way. FOURTH RACE 5 1-2 FURLONGS. HISTORICAL was sent into command after the start and showed speed throughout, stood off determined opposition from SECOND HEAVEN in the stretch run and finished under mild urging. SECOND HEAVEN was well up from the start, was placed under pressure in the stretch, then hung at the end. PERFECT DEAR lacked early speed, but came to the outside in the stretch and finished with a rush. IDESPONDENT raced well throughout. CREAM CHEESE was close up in the early running and had no mishaps. BONNIE VIXEN moved up fast after the start and then tired. EDABULL showed a good effort all the way. AMERCUP dropped back after the start. FLYING LARK propped at the start. LA BELLE-. BELLRINGER worked his way up on the inside, saved ground rounding thc stretch and then finished between the leaders in the final drive. GALAPAS was sent into command at the start and showed speed throughout while saving ground and held on gamely in the final drive. INDOMITAELE, on the outside of the leaders all the way, hung in the final drive. FLEUR DU MAL raced well throughout. FOGOSO was outrun the first part, but made up ground. ZOSTERA had no mishaps.
