Most Charming Gains Nose Victory at Lincoln Downs LINCOLN DOWNS. Lincoln, R. I.. May 9. — Todays featured Wickford Purse produced a thrilling finish as Tee Pee Stables Most Charming managed to hold on for a nose victory over F. L. Travels Little Story, the two hitting the wire almost on a par. Joan Ellen Stables Wartesia, the heavy favorite, finished two lengths back in third place, while Ben Greens Platter-puss finished fourth in the field of seven. Most Charming, ridden by Henry Wajda. covered the seven furlongs in 1:28 5 and paid 0.60 to her sweating backers in the crowd of 7.073 on a humid and sunny aft-j ernoon. It was the warest day of the session which is entering its waning days.
