Calloway K. was half a dozen lengths in advance of Eternal Frolic. The latter was far ahead of the well-supported Marcy Anne who trailed the field to the last few strides, defeating Turquesa for last place after the latter was eased near the end. Overlooked in the wagering Arioso II. returned a 6.80 mutuel. The secondary feature was the five -furlong fifth in which the veteran campaigner Eternal Sam gave the Logsdon colors their first winner of the program.
