RICCI TAVI was snugly rated closest to the pace, reach the front when put to pressure after a half mile, but tired under his impost. LIBERTY SUN, taken back at the start and reserved for a half mile SirS opening saving ground and. rushing to the leaders on the stretch turn, loomed boldly but hung l-ABRICATOR was in close on the first turn, was rated along evenly thereafter and lacked a rally WILD RIDE weakened under pressure. ARRANT BULLY found room next to the rail steadily improving position and taking command on the stretch turn, then was steadily urged to maintain his advantage. RICH ACRES, away slowly, rallied between horses and was gradually gaining. MORATORIUM raced to the front under restraint rounding the far turn, but failed to hold the winner. ANCRUM CASTLE was rated setting the pace but weakened when challenged. BATTLE TALK was not a serious factor JOLLY PRINCESS stumbled to her knees at the first stride from the gate, and lost her rider.
