: WATHEN KNEBELKAMP Elect Wathen Knebelkamp Head of Kentucky HBPA CHURCHILL DOWNS, Louisville. Ky., May 9. — Wathen Knebelkamp, widely known thoroughbred owner and breeder, has been elected president of the newly-organized Kentucky division of the Horsemens Benevolent and Protective Association. The election was held here yesterday and officials reported heavy voting. Kneblekamp. a former president of the Kentucky Thoroughbred Breeders Association, is one of the most active horsemen in the state." Roscoe Goose, Freeman Keyes. Clayton C. Moore. James L. Paddock, and J. How-aid Rouse make up the owners committee while the owner-trainer group will include Richard J. Fischer. Henry Forrest, John J. Greely Jr., Samuel Bryant Ott and R. Harold Raines.
