To Open Audibon Park Track For Training Starting Monday HENDERSON. Ky.. May 9.— First horse arrivals are expected at Audubon Friday and workmen at the track expect to have the racing strip ready for workouts next Monday. The track has been leveled and workmen will spend the balance of the week on grading the strip and working a sandy loam cushion into the racing strip. Rails have been placed on the inner side of the track and all of the railing is expected to be in place when the first thoroughbreds arrive. Parking lots in the track area have been graded and leveled. The clubhouse dining room will be managed and operated by Kentucky Spoits-service, Inc., it was announced today by track officials. Racing secretary Jack Klucina announced that the condition book for the 19-day meeting, starting May 29, would be off the press this week.
