Parrott Undergoes Surgery CHURCHILL DOWNS, Louisville, Ky.. May 9. — Apprentice jockey Robert Parrott was reported resting comfortably at Saints Mary and Elizabeth hospital this morning after undergoing an emergency appendectomy late Wednesday. Young Parrott. one of the better lightweight riders here this year, complained of severe cramps after filling an engagement in the second race yesterday and he was sent to the hospital immediately. ■ 1 *
