Tom Pullen Succumbs CAHOKIA DOWNS, East St. Louis, 111., June 4. Tom Pullen, a.veteran owner and trainer who had a stable of horses racing here in partnership with his son, Lyndell, died this morning, according to word received by racing secretary L. H. Van Zandt. The runners that Pullen had here and owned jointly by himself and son, are Jack Tar, Texas Reward, Lady Pad, Brooke Aire and Laydown. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday afternoon at 2 p.m. at his home in New Columbia, 111.
