Ismael Valenzuela Suspended For 20-Day Racing Period HOLLYWOOD PARK, Inglewood, Calif., June 4. For "conduct deterimental to racing," jockey Ismael "Milo" Valenzuela today was suspended by the Hollywood Park board of stewards for 20 days from June 4 to June 29, inclusive. The action grew out of a Thoroughbred Racing Protective Bureau investigation of an incident that occurred early Monday morning when Valenzuela and two companions were beaten by unknown persons in a bar at 108th Street and Broadway. Investigating officers arrested the three victims on drunk charges. Valenzuela was on the mend today and appeared before the stewards for the hearing., - -
