Vincent Sheridan Re-elected As Ontario HBPA President TORONTO, Ont., June 4. Vincent J. "Vince" Sheridan was returned to office today as president of the Ontario division of the Horsemens Benevolent and Protective Association. This will be his ninth consecutive term and his re-election speaks for his popularity with the herosemen. Sheridan has given able leadership with a minimum of fanfare. The scale of purses has increased steadily through his terms and his diplomatic approach has brought ready respense from racingvassociations in the settlement of difficulties which crop up from time to time. The following directors were elected to serve with Sheridan: B. R. Steen, J. Starr, A. J. Halliwell, W. R. Brunt, Ht J. Mezen, G. Dadame, W. Thurner, R. Eownrow, P. , H. Merrill Jr. and J. G. Cowari.
