Eleven Crack Juveniles Nominated for Haggin Roster Includes Undefeated r Old Pueblo and El Bolero HOLLYWOOD PARK, Inglewood, Calif., June 4. Eleven outstanding two-year-old colts and geldings, most of them advancing toward a shot at the 5,000 added Starlet Stakes on July 18, have been nominated for the 0,000 added Haggin Stakes to be run Tuesday, June 11, at Hollywood Park. Topping the list of nominees which racing secretary John Maulvius released today for the five-furlong event are the unbeaten youngster, Old Pueblo and El Bolero. The long-awaited clash of these two colts, who each have won three straight, will highlight the Haggin which in the past has produced some of Hollywoods tightest and most interesting tussles. Old Pueblo joined the ranks of the stakes winners in bagging the Cabrlllo Stakes last week in :57 flat. No foe has ever been closer than six lengths at the wire to the Rukin Jelks star in his three victories. Although his margins of victory have been less impressive, El Bolero also has done everything asked by trainer Don Her-ber and owner I. R. Salley. He won a division of the Salinas Stakes at Bay Meadows in :59 and was a handy winner of his other two starts. Named to face the- undefeated twosome are the George Lewis stable tandem of Music Man Fox and Lucky H. L. L. B. Mayers Royal Clipper, second to El Bolero in the Salinas, and Beau Madison, worlds half-mile record holder and. a recent winner, also are on the roster.
