Two Riders Are Tossed From Mounts at Audubon AUDUBON PARK, Henderson, Ky., June 4. Jockeys Lyman Richards and L. Ala-torre were rushed to a local hospital after both were thrown heavily from their mounts following a spill during the running of the third race here this afternoon. There was no information available as to the extent of their injuries. Richards was astride H. Hoffmans Fox-ley Lass, who stumbled and fell while racing in fifth place after rounding the lower turn of this half-mile course. Alatorres mount, Mrs. Francis Alveys Charlie Bowman, collided with the fallen animal without going down and he was also thrown to the ground. Both boys appeared to be in an unconscious condition when placed into the track ambulance.
