Many New Riders Join River Downs Jockey Colony RrVER DOWNS, Cincinnati, Ohio, June 4. The jockeys quarters here at River Downs was a beehive of activity today as many new riders arrived at this plant. Harry Miller, the veteran jockey room custodian, back for his third consecutive year in that capacity here at the Downs, checked in Billy Bass, Harry Holcomb, J. C. Fernandez, Norman Hart, Jim Dobson, Gilermo Silva, John Tracey and Bobby Wall. The group plans to ply their trade for the remainder of this 44-day meeting; With this influx the riding colony has now swelled its ranks to 42 members.
