Second Avenue in Good Prep DETROIT RACE COURSE, Livonia, Mich., June 15.— Theodore D. Buhls Second Avenue, 1953 winner of the Michigan, Mile, visited the slow track here this morning for a four furlongs breeze, accomplishing his task in :51. Second Avenue, good class winner of an overnight sprint at Churchill Downs on May 21 and second here last week to Bright Shoes, has been slow to reach top form at the local course, although he presently makes an excellent physical appearance.
