Eight Sprinters in Ak-Sar-Ben Feature AK-SAR-BEN, Omaha, Nebr., June 15.— The fourth twilight prgram of the meeting will be offered Thursday, as is customary each Thursday, with the first going postward at 3:30 p. m., with other race days having a 2:00 p. m. starting time. Headlining the card will be the sixth race, a claiming affair titled the Columbus Purse, for four-year-olds and upward at the sprint distance of five furlongs, with eight evenly matched performers named to vie for the ,500 purse. Madeos Dream, owne.d by W. D. Rorick and L. O. Lane, weighted at 110 and to be ridden by her regular pilot, jockey Robert Mundorf, appears to be nicely placed to garner her first victory at this meeting, but will be asked to turn back such speedsters as R. C. Gilmores Thoughtless, O. D. Forneys Hay Whirley, F. W. Bourcks Curtain Raiser and W. S. McKees Epic Choice. The field is completed by R. V. Beckwiths Miss Carmine B., John Aabergs Top View and Olin Sledges Tin Twist.
