Wounded Groom Improves HOLLYWOOD PARK, Inglewood, Calif., June 15. — Trainer Reggie Cornell reported this morning that Groom James Goins is showing improvement in his fight for life. Goins was wounded by a fellow groom, Jack Ulmer, following a stable area argument Saturday.
