Prissy Girl Successful In Debut at Ascot Park Olympia P. Q. and Royal Orphan Complete 4.40 Daily Double By BOB HURLEY Staff Correspondent ASCOT PARK, Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, May 14. George S. Killpatricks pink and gray colors were carried to victory in their first outing at this track as his Prissy Girl scampered to her maiden score by three and one-half lengths under jockey Larry Grubb today. The Killpatrick string recently arrived on the Ascot scene from Kentucky under trainer W. Perry Smith with Prissy Girl the first starter sent post-ward from that outfit. Prissy Girl, a four-year-old Cortil Apt Reward filly, showed speed to take command early in the sprint over the Ascot course and Grubb never let up on the filly as she raced the distance in :53. The win was Grubbs 21st at the meeting. Canadian R. Brian Murray saddled another invader for an Ascot win when he sent Kenneth D. Armstrongs Olympia P. Q. out to register by the same margin in the second race. Olympia P. Q. arrived here last week from Fort Erie and vas vastly superior to his field as he stepped over the Ascot course in :53. Tommy Lattarulo was in the irons. Olympia P. Q. paid 1.20 and completed a Daily Double worth 4.40. Claiborne Carters Royal Orphan had seuccessfully launched the favorite players in the opening race with a game three-quarters of a length victory under Clarence Smith as the odds-on choice. The Royal Visitor horse paid .40 and was timed in 1:30 for 7 furlongs. A crowd of 3,478 attended today despite an overcast that brought a chill to the May day. I
