Thore Brekke, Hollywood Park Official Has Lobar Pneumonia HOLLYWOOD PARK, Inglewood, Calif., May 14. Thore Brekke, assistant general manager of Hollywood Park, is in Centinela Hospital, Inglewood, today, suffering from lobar pneumonia. He spent a full day at the track Wednesday but severe chest pains required his removal from his home in Manhattan Beach to the hospital today. Dr. Theodore Haller, Hollywood Park track physician, estimated that Brekke would be hospitalized for about a week and could return to his Hollypark duties in ap-; proximately three weeks.
