Robert B. Carroll unveiled a lively stepping two-year-old in the third race when he sent out Really I Will, a juvenile daughter of I Will Blue Thistle. A combination of sharp workouts and Bill Hartacks presence in the saddle caused her to be a 7-to-5 choice, and she won as if much the best. Hartack had her under pressure most of the distance becuase of green style.of striding over a track still termed muddy for the early races, and she was extended until the final yards. She won by five lengths in 1:01 with, Roslyn Farms Stolen Glance finishing a tiring second. 26.20 Daily Double Walter J. Susinis Jouett S. managed a desperately close decision over Manfusos Apple Dumpling to complete a 26.20 Daily Double in the second race. He was ridden by Henry Block and paid 4.60 straight. Carmen Bertazons Gala Bomb, favored in the sprint, was eliminated at the start when he refused to break with his field. Joseph W. LaCroix Mr. Harrison, the second choice, was also eliminated on the turn when the winner bore out and pinched him back abruptly on the final turn. Mrs. Joyce E. Beatties Doreens Play held on tenaciously" saving ground in the first race and managed a three-quarters length victory over Jay Dee Stables Ann-ville to pay 5.20.
