EVENING TEMPO shook off the opposition to establish a commanding lead near the furlong pole, then was roused to hold BETRAYED safe. The latter, slow to settle into best stride, finished with good energy. FRENCH BLEU was between horses while racing for command and lacked a late surge. LADY JONAGE made up considerable ground. CHUCK WEBB faltered through the stretch. KA ZEE was through early as was STAR 0 LEE. LOST CHORD flattened out. WINSOME PRINCE was slow to respond. ROYAL CAIN made up ground. PRANKISH raced for command into the stretch and faltered.
