Prince Aly Khans filly, Fioren-tina, ridden by the Australian, George Moore, today won the One Thousand Guineas at The Curragh in a three-way photo finish. Fiorentina, who started an even money favorite, won the 8 furlongs race by a neck from S. J. Paers Lillet, a 7-1 chance, with B. Kerrs Clara Bow, 33-1 outsider, a short head further away in third place. The race, carrying ,940 in added money, was delayed almost an hour when a heavy thunderstorm broke over the track. This is the third classic that Prince Aly Khan has won in the British Isles this season. He took the Newmarket Two Thousand Guineas and One Thousand Guineas, with Taboun and Petite Etoite, a fortnight ago. Fiorentina is a daughter of Tulyar, out of Leventina, by Fair Trial.
