Ohio Endurance to Close j ; For Nominations on June 24 NORTH RANDALL, Ohio, May 14. Closing date for the Ohio Endurance, the third in the series of four added money events to i be run at his Cleveland track, has been set for Wednesday, June 24. The running date for ,000 Endurance has been set for the holiday program of July 4. j The stakes is open to all two-year-olds , and the 1959 running will mark the sixth j renewal. Prior winners have included; Leterna, Happy Memories, Mambo Dancer, Sleeping Tiger, A Dragon Killer and Colonel Chill in 1958. The last named is presently considered as a probable starter in "this seasons Ohio derby at ThistleDown. A Dragon Killer, the 1957 winner, finished second last year in the same event. Nomination fees for the six furlong test are 0 each with entrants to pay 0 plus an addition 5 to start. There will be a six way purse split of the Endurance" with the winners share estimated at ,200; second, ,700; third 50; fourth 25; fifth, 50 and sixth 50. A silver trophy will go to the winning owner.
