CONCORD quickly drew clear and while drifting out through the stretch, withstood ULTRA SMART. The latter rallied along the inside, reached near even terms with the winner in deep stretch, then hung. SWEET SWINGER bested the others while tiring through the final eighth. TOO BUSY failed to enter contention. HIGHLAND ROGUE made a good move on the turn, then flattened out through the stretch. MADCAP MISS moved to the Inside at the far turn and, saving ground, rallied well but could not threaten the winner. GEORGES RIB slipped inside the winner to reach the lead before a half mile, then tired gradually in the stretch run. LADY LIZ dropped back early. TIMETILL moved boldly from the outside after settling into the stretch to quickly open up a good lead and won with speed to spare. SAND AND SEA raced outside rivals on the turn, swerved in the early stretch and while finishing well was no threat to the winner. BOXERS DREAM saved ground on the turn, loomed a threat in the early stretch, but had no late response. SHIPS SPIRIT quickly drew clear, drifted out into the stretch and tired. REBEL COUNT wore down tiring horses. NEVER QUIT was no serious threat. MENDON ROAD raced in spots. CAMBETTA BOUND could not keep up after an alert beginning. All starters raced without blinkers.
