Stable Area in Top Shape STANTON, Del., May 14. Delaware Parks stable area will open on May 18 to accommodate approved stables for the 50-day meeting which gets under way on Friday, May 29. Clarke M. Pardee, track superintendent, has the lush, grassy stable area in readiness for the first arrivals scheduled to ship in from Maryland, New Jersey, New York and Kentucky racing centers. Coinciding with the stable area opening will be the operation of the modern stable cafeteria and recreational program. "Jock" Labelle and John OBrien, licensed athletic officials, direct the varied athletic and entertainment program.
