Root Out for Six Weeks GARDEN STATE PARK, Camden, N. J., May "14. Jockey Tommy Root suffered a fractured fibia bone in his left leg before Tuesdays second race at Garden State Park and will be out of action for about six weeks. The accident occurred at the post before the second event. Roots mount, We-Tan, reared in the gate pinning Root against the side of the gate. He was sent to the Cooper Hospital, Camden, N. J., where X-rays revealed the fracture. Root J was released from the hospital Tuesday evening.
