Run Cleveland Debutante AtThistleDownTomorrow Local Debs to Sponsor Entrants; Also Honor Three Other Groups THISTLEDOWN, North Randall", Ohio, June 13.— Wednesday will be a gala day at this -track with four races due to be named in honor of special groups. These attrac-j tions will be the Nomad Club Purse; the Elks, the Grotto, and the. Cleveland Debutante. Officers and members of the first three clubs will be guests of the management and will make presentations to the winning owners after the races named in their honor "are run. A large turnout is expected as 14,000 members .of the Grotto are now holding a convention in Cleveland and many of the delegates have made reservations for the week-end program. A bright social note has been added to the days festivities with the scheduled third running of the Cleveland Debutante. This event has always attracted local socialites since girls who1 have made their local debuts during the current season will sponsor entrants in the days top featured race. The group, whose colors will be seen in action by proxy the riders wear rosettes representing each debutante includes the Misses: Bonnie Bruce, Ida Gunn, Mary McCaslin, Maeve McGuire, Eve Ingalls, Carolyn Rathbone, Anne Rankin, Martha Jean Young, Patricia Crane, Eleanor Taft, Marianne Maskey, Helen Bordurtha, Judith Turben, Barbara Neal and Ann Simonson. The debutantes will be guests at a luncheon and, following the running of the feature, the girl whose colors have been carried to victory will present a trophy to the winning owner.
