»T Stewart Says Match Offer Stands Any Time During Meet HOLLYWOOD PARK, Inglewood, Calif., June 13. — When informed of Woodwards statement today, vice-president and general manager James D. Stewart of Hollywood Park said: "We regret that Mr. Woodward has decided against sending , Nashua against Swaps at Hollywood Park, but if he should change his mind, our offer of 00,000, winner take all, for a. match on any date between now and our closing day July 25 still stands. "We could guarantee ideal conditions for the race and are certain that such a match, coming at a time when both of these fine thoroughbreds are at their peak, would be one of the greatest contests in the history of the turf. "Realizing that the schedules of both Mr. Woodward and Mr. Ellsworth appear to make it difficult for them to get their horses together soon before one or both might tail off and pass their present top form, we had hoped, and still hope, the public demand for the match would result in its being staged at Hollywood Park in the near future while both horses are running at their best."
