Conventional Film Patrol Installed at Detroit Course DETROIT RACE COURSE, Livonia, Mich., June 13. — Conventional film patrol is being installed today at the Detroit Race Course to supplement the service being furnished by TV turf patrol. TV turf patrol was installed for the first time anywhere here this season, and the kinescope films during the development period have on occasion been lacking in the detail required by the track management. By bringing in a three-station film patrol, it provides a backstop on the TV tuff patrol films and permits the latter to continue with its development. The service to the public and bfifcials on the TV screens in the stands will continue as before.
