Invite Swaps and Determine To Meet in Match at Caliente AGUA CALIENTE, Tijuana, Mex., June 13. — Agua Calientes general manager Johnny Alessio today issued an invitation to Continued on Page Forty-Fire Invite Swaps and Determine It Meet in Match at Caliente Continued from Page Six both Rex C. Ellsworth, owner of Swaps, and Andrew J. Crevolin, owner of Determine, to bring their Kentucky Derby winners to the Border oval for a match race for 5,000 winner-take-all prize. Alessio said in his message to Crevolin and Ellsworth, that because thousands of turf followers have been unable to see either of the great thoroughbreds race due to the fact they must work, the Border track was making the offer in an effort to give fans a chance to see them in action on a Sunday. Alessio proposed that the race be held over the mile and an eighth distance, for the aforementioned 5,000 any Sunday between now and September 1, weights arid dates to be agreed upon by Ellsworth and Crevolin.
