The latter, after being slow to respond, displayed a good late surge from the outside. MRS. G. R. attained command after saving ground on -the turn and faltered nearing the end. PIPING ARMS was unable to shake off the early opposition and falte-ed. HOMESTAKE dwelt at the start and made up considerable ground. MISS TACARO was outrun. After calling for an inquiry, the steward? disqualified HARBASH for having bothered MID STREAM while drifting out. DIVE rallied from the outside and was wearing down the top one. MID STREAM raced with" the pacemaker throughout, Tacked the needed response and v/as crowded slightly during the drive. BECKYS SHIRT dwelt at the start and failed to-menace the top ones.
