Invigorator Is Derby Debut For Allison and Prestridge ALLISON and PRESTRIDGE, owners of the Saxon Stable, are comparative newcomers to racing but, nevertheless, are among its better-known patrons. Invigorator is their first Derby eligible. Business as well as racing partners, Max Prestridge of Alamogordo, New Mexico, and Riley Allison of El Paso, Texas, raced under the partnership name in California until their stable moved to New York, where partnerships are not placed on the program. So they chose Saxon as their stable name for East Coast racing purposes. Prestridge is in the lumber business in the mountains near Alamogordo, while Allison has been in the general construction and cotton ranching fields near El Paso. They drilled oil wells, and hit, now owning major producing fields in the Southwest.
