Taft said today he has "great sympathy" for proposals to exempt the building industry and other primary local enterprises from the Taft-Hartley labor law. Bullitt Asks Red Attack William C. Bullitt, former ambassador to France and Russia, called today for a coordinated attack against the Communists in Korea, Indo-China and the Chinese mainland. Bullitt told the Central Supply Association that "this is the last chance of the free world to survive." Hildreth New Pakistan Ambassador WASHINGTON, D. O, May 1.— Horace A. Hildreth, former governor of Maine, was nominated by President Eisenhower today to be the new ambassador to Pakistan. Hildreth is president of Bucknell University at Lewisburg, Pa. He will replace Avera Warren. Attack Red Concentrations SEOUL, Korea, May 1.— United Nations sabrejet fighter-bombers attacked Pyongyang and four Communist troop and supply concentrations today in hard-hitting May day air raids over North Korea. The newly-converted sabre bombers smashed at Pyongyang in relays, sending clouds of dense smoke billowing up over the North Korean capitol. Seeks Aid Authority WASHINGTON, D. C, May 1. — The Eisenhower administration wants standby authority from Congress to use American aid to help rearm Western Germany if the stalled European army plan is approved, informed sources revealed today. Bomb Explodes Near Peron BUENOS AIRES, Argentina, May 1.— A powerful bomb was exploded today half a block from the Palacio del Congreso where president Juan D. Peron was delivering his "state of the union" address, inaugurating the 87th session of the Argentine congress. Support Seaway Project WASHINGTON, D. O, May 1.— Top Senate Republican leaders have lined up in support of U.
