ROSAMUNDA II. was outrun Wtm and was not called upon until half the distance had been traversed, then came steadily and challenging REn/j. TEE on the outside in the stretch, got to the front near the end to win under pressure. REPARTEE was i» so rated early and headed the field nearing the stretch turn, then held on gamely in the final drive. ADAPTATION was inclined to race wide and trailed the field for over six furlongs, then came well. LADY RIDGEWELL was a good contender early but weakened. SOUTH COVERT tired. OFF AT 5:141 CENTRAL DAYLIGHT TIME. Start good from stall gate. Won driving; second and third the same. STAGGERING IN was never too far removed and coming strongly on the outside of several horses nearing the stretch turn, took command at mid-stretch, although racing in the middle of the track and held LADY SERENATA in the drive. The latter was rated early, moved well when called upon in the stretch and went gamely to the finish. GINNAS WAR made the pace, although inclined to race wide in the early part and held on with a fair amount of courage. FIGHTING DA slipped through on the inside nearing the stretch turn to take a short lead, then weakened. MENT POT was going well at the finish. GUS G. was unable to keep up. DOMINION was never a contender. Overweight— Staggering In, 2 pounds; Lady Serenata, 2; Lighted Candle, 1. Dominion claimed by P. H. Green. Attendance, 8,678; Total Mutuel Pool, 60,483.
