Jouett F. Knauer, 62, Dies CHURCHILL DOWNS, Louisville. Ky., May 1. — Jouett F. Knauer, 62, died at 8 p. m. yesterday at his home, 5701 Southland Boulevard, Louisville. Knauer, a veteran of World War I, was the owner of Jouetts restaurant, located on the Churchill Downs backstretch, and he had a wide acquaintance among racing folk. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Esther Knauer. Funeral services will be held at 2 p. m. Saturday from the Arch L. Heady Southern Funeral Home, 3601 Taylor Boulevard.
