Daniels Back Again After Disappointment of Jet Ace MR. and MRS. T. M. DANIEL, owners of Ace Destroyer, named Jet Ace for the 1952 Derby but the horse did not live up to their hopes and was not a starter. But Ace Destroyer, a son of Grand Admiral from a Mahmoud mare, has been there or thereabouts in enough important stakes, at two and during the winter at three, to warrant a chance in Americas blue ribbon classic. The Daniels are comparative newcomers to racing, becoming owners only about three years ago. Mr. Daniel is owner of the Southern Household Products Company of Birmingham, Alabama. He purchased a breeding farm near Lexington, Kentucky, about the same time as he obtained Jet Ace. The farm, known as Broadmoor, includes 255 acres and is something of a showplace in the blue grass country because it is the only farm in that section with an all-steel panel fence, which was manufactured in the owners steel works.
